The development of wireless telecommunications has evolved, where the impact of the innovation is felt by all levels of society significantly. However, in wireless telecommunications there is an unavoidable interference from nature with the information we send or receive, causing errors in the decoding of the information we receive. In the context of wireless telecommunications, the interference is known as fading. Based on this fact, it is necessary to conduct a study that can minimize the fading effect.
The Research has been carried out is to make spreading code having zero value of side lobes in its auto-correlation function. This zero value of side lobes is related to no interference caused by fading. Therefore, if the side lobe is zero, the fading effect can be minimized.
The code that has been created, is applied in the Spectrum Spread communication system using a simulation method to find out its performance, in relation to fading. Based on the simulation results, the code can minimize the fading effect provided that the multi-path components do not exceed 4, assuming the path time delay of the channel is the same as the chip period of the spreading code.
